特徴

• Ferritin is a globular protein present in all cell type of 450kD consisting of 24 subunits. In vertebrates, these subunits are both light (L) with a molecular weight of 19kD andheavy (H) type with a molecular weight of 21kD. Ferritin functions as the primary intracellular iron-storage protein and maintains iron in a soluble and non-toxic form. Serum ferritin levels are measured in diagnostic testing for examining iron levels in anemia and for restless legs syndrome. Normal ferritin levels are usually between 30–300ng/ml in males, and 6-115ng/ml in females.

• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
