Sample Type:Tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids
Intended Use:The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of NKX3-1 in human tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.
Sensitivity:0.055ng/ml
Range:0.156-10ng/ml
Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of NK3 Homeobox Protein 1 (NKX3-1). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between NK3 Homeobox Protein 1 (NKX3-1) and analogues was observed.
Precision:Intra-Assay: CV<10% Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Test Principle:The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to NKX3-1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to NKX3-1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain NKX3-1, biotin-conjugatedantibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically ata wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of NKX3-1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Storage and Stability:Store all components at 4°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
