This sensitive, gold-based rapid assay can be run on both tissue culture supernatant fluid and on mouse ascites fluid. This tests produces results in under 20 minutes, demonstrates increased sensitivity over latex bead assays, and tests for 6 major isotypes in one rapid test.
Test Principle:Rapid Test Mouse mAb Isotyping BioAssay™ Kit is a five-minute rapid lateral flow BioAssay™ with ELISA sensitivity for monoclonal antibody class and subclass determination. This sensitive, gold-based rapid BioAssay™ can be run on both tissue culture supernatant fluid and on mouse ascites fluid.
Determining the class and subclass of a monoclonal antibody is useful in determining the best immunoglobulin purification method. For example, IgA and IgM are often best purified by size (gel exclusion) or on immuno affinity separation columns, whereas IgG2a and IgG2b can be purified on protein A at a pH of 7 to 8. IgG1 binds best to protein A at a pH of 8 to 9. In addition, each class and isotype can be digested to Fab fragments using the appropriate amount of pepsin or other enzymes for each isotype or antibody class. Our rapid Mouse Monoclonal Antibody Isotyping BioAssay™ Kit reduces a day-and-a-half procedure to a five-minute BioAssay™.
The Rapid Test Mouse Monoclonal Isotyping BioAssay™ Kit is also useful for assessing the purity of a self-purified or purchased monoclonal antibody; multiple lines appear on the test strips to indicate subclass contamination.
Each Isotyping BioAssay™ Kit contains ten pouches for testing ten samples. A total of ten cassettes for detecting IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b isotypes and ten cassettes for detecting IgG3, and IgM, and IgA antibodies are included. The BioAssay™ kit also contains one 45ml bottle of Sample Diluent.

Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
