The Wnt family includes several secreted glycoproteins that play important roles in animal development. beta-catenin is a key downstream effector of the Wnt signaling pathway that research studies have shown is implicated in early embryonic development and tumorigenesis in vertebrates. Following binding of Wnt family proteins to the Frizzled receptor, beta-catenin translocates to the nucleus where it interacts with LEF1 and TCF1 to activate canonical targets. Accepted canonical targets include CD44, cyclin D1, c-Jun, c-Myc, Met, and MMP-7.

Intended Use:The Wnt/beta-Catenin Activated Targets Antibody Sampler BioAssay™ Kit provides an economical means to investigate target proteins of the Wnt/beta-Catenin signaling pathway. This kit contains enough primary antibody to perform two western blots per primary antibody.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
