Studies showed that Pentadecafluorooctanoic Acid exhibits a long half-life in human blood and interferes with the binding between liver-fatty acid binding protein and fatty acids. Pentadecafluorooctanoic Acid also induce hepatic peroxisome proliferation in rodents.
