• N-[[5-(Dimethylamino)-1-naphthalenyl]sulfonyl]-L-γ-glutamyl-L-cysteinylglycine Bimol. (2→2')-Disulfide is an intermediate in the synthesis of Dansyl Glutathione TFA Salt (D181910). Dansyl Glutathione TFA Salt is used for the selective detection of bovine serum albumin (BSA), a major protein constituent of blood plasma. Also, it is a trapping agent and fluorescent detection for quantitation of reactive metabolites. It is derived from Glutathione Disulfide (G597970), which is a biomarker for fatty liver disease.
