• Hexanoyl Chloride-D11 is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Glycidyl Hexanoate-d11 (G615562), which is labeled analogue of Glycidyl Hexanoate (G615560), a plasticize for polyvinyl butyral resin composition. Glycidyl Hexanoate is also an antioxidant-rust inhibitor used in the preparation of lubricating oils for refrigerators. Also, it is the deuterized label form of Hexanoyl Chloride (h294430), which is a fatty acyl chloride that is used as a starting material to synthesize new Kanamycin A (sulfate salt: K137500) derivatives, which exhibit antiviral activity against Herpes Simplex Virus I and the influenza virus.
