Estradiol-7α-butyric Acid is a derivative of Estradiol (E888000). It causes alterations in the electron activity of neurons in guinea pig septal and preoptic cells when applied by iontophoresis. It is also used for the purification of the cytosol estrogen receptor from calf uterus.
