• (±)-Eriodictyol is a bitter-masking flavonoid with potential antioxidation activity. Eriodictyol may be used to study it mechanism of IgE/Ag-induced type I hypersensitivity inhibition at the level of mast cell degranulation and ceramide kinase activity. Eriodictyol may be studied to understand its potential antidiabetic activity and its neuroprotective activity via activation of Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway.
