Diethyl 2-Ethyl-2-methylmalonate-D3 is a labelled analogue of Diethyl 2-Ethyl-2-methylmalonate. Diethyl 2-Ethyl-2-methylmalonate is used as a reagent to synthesize isoxazolidine-3,5-diones, compounds that exhibit herbicidal activity. It is also used as a reagent to alkylate olefins with Palladium as catalyst.
