Test Principle:Cu2+ can be reduced to Cu+ by protein in alkaline medium. Cu+ can combine with BCA reagent and form purple complex, which has a maximum absorption peak at 562nm. The absorbance value is proportional to the protein concentration. Therefore, the protein concentration can be calculated according to the OD value.
Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
