Tartrate resistant acid phosphatase (TRACP) is a kind of isozyme which exists in osteoclast. It is a very valuable index of estimating bone resorption. TRACP will increase obviously if bone resorpt ion rises, and it will decrease distinctly after hyperparathyroidism operation. There is a negative correlation between TRACP of primary osteoporosis and bone mineral density of ulna, radius and QCT vertebra.
Sample Type:Animal serum, plasma, tissues.
Intended Use:This kit can be used for detection of TRACP activity in samples, such as animal serum, plasma, tissues etc..
Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
