H+, K+-ATPase has important physiological significance in gastric acid secretion and gastric digestive function. Forte et al first isolated a class of ATPase in bullfrog gastric mucosa that can be specific activated by K + and can't inhibited by ouabain, in the 70's. It is H+、K+-ATPase. H + K + -ATPase located in the cell of Gastric mucosa wall, belong to the second class of proton pump. Through its phosphorylation (E1→E2) and dephosphorylated (E2→E1) to complete the H + /K + electric neutrality transmembrane ion transport, constantly transport proton within the wall cell to outside the cell membrane to perform acid secretion function.
