Creatine kinase is usually found in the cytoplasm and mitochondria of animal heart, muscle (skeletal and cardiac) as well as in brain and other tissues. There is a direct relationship between CK and energy homeostasis of cells, muscle contraction, ATP regeneration, which has great scientific research value for acute myocardial infarction.

Test Principle:Creatine kinase can catalyze adenosine triphosphate and creatine to form phosphocreatine. The generated phosphocreatine soon hydrolyzes into phosphoric acid entirely while adenosine triphosphate and adenosine diphosphate are still stable. Add ammonium molybdate can form phosphomolybdic acid which can be further reduced into molybdenum blue. The activity of enzyme can be calculated according to the concentration of inorganic phosphorus.

Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
