This kit is used for quantitative determination of alpha-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (HBDH) in serum. The increase of HBDH normally occur with myocardial infarction, active rheumatic myocarditis, hemolytic anemia and other diseases.
Sensitivity:Reagent test lower limit ≤10.0U/L.
Range:0-1000 U/L, judgment reference: r2≥0.995
Test Principle:Alpha-hydroxybutanone + NADH+ H+→ alpha-hydroxybutyrate +NAD+Measure the decrease rate of NADH at 340nm to calculate HBDH activity.
Kit Components (see Protocol for final kit quantities):Reagent 1,Phosphate buffer (pH7.4), 50mmol/LAlpha-ketobutyrate, 3mmol/L
Reagent 2,Reduced coenzyme I (NADH), 0.18mmol/L
Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
