Adenosine deaminase is widely expressed in various tissues, with highest concentration in cecum, small intestine mucosa and spleen. And the content in liver is only 7% to 14% of the small intestine. In liver, 90% of ADA is located in the cytoplasm, and low in cell nucleus, it is the one of metabolic enzymes of nucleic acid with highest Levels. Activity of ADA in liver disease is increased.
