特徴

• Bordetella pertussis Filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA) is extracted from Bordetella pertussis and purified to a very high degree (>98%). A cell surface protein of Bordetella pertussis, FHA functions as an adhesin for this organism.
• Description:FHA from B. pertussis, strain NC10739/ACTC 9797. This product is present as 95% in its original 220kD form, with 5% in the reported breakdown products of 140kD and 90kD.
• Applications:FHA is often used in combination with pertussis toxin for diagnostic screening purposes, whereas highly pure B. pertussis toxin alone is used predominantly for the monitoring of vaccination programs. Other applications not tested.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
