• CSF2RA, also known as granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor subunit alpha isoform g, is a well-known hemopoietic growth factor that is used in the clinic to correct neutropaenia, usually as a result of chemotherapy. It is a key regulatory molecule causative of this aortopathy, and modulation of this cytokine might be an exploitable treatment strategy for the condition. It transduces a signal that results in the proliferation, differentiation, and functional activation of hematopoietic cells. Recombinant human CSF2RA, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

• Biological Activity:Measured by its ability to inhibit GM-CSF dependent proliferation of TF1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is less or equal to 10ug/ml in the presence of 0.5ng/ml GM-CSF.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
