Neural cell adhesion molecule L1-like protein also known as close homolog of L1 (CHL1) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CHL1 gene. This protein is a member of the L1 gene family of neural cell adhesion molecules. By FISH, the CHL1 gene was mapped to chromosome 3p26.1. The protein however has dynamic localisation, meaning that it has not only multiple roles in the cell, but also various locations. This protein may also play a role in the growth of certain cancers.
Intended Use:Sandwich High Sensitivity BioAssay™ ELISA kit for Quantitative Detection of Mouse CHL1/L1CAM-2.
Sensitivity:<10pg/ml
Range:156pg/ml-10,000pg/ml
Specificity:Recognizes natural and recombinant Mouse CHL1/L1CAM-2. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.
Test Principle:This Mouse CHL1/L1CAM-2 BioAssay™ ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune- sorbent assay technology. A specific for CHL1/L1CAM-2 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO; Immunogen sequence: E26-W1083) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection specific for CHL1/L1CAM-2 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Mouse CHL1/L1CAM-2 amount of sample captured in plate.
Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
