特徴

• GDA, also known as guanine deaminase, catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of guanine, producing xanthine and ammonia. Studies in rat ortholog suggest this gene plays a role in microtubule assembly. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-454 from human GDA expressed in E. coli.
• Molecular Weight:~51kD (454 aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF
• Specific Activity:>2000pmol/min/ug, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that convert guanine to xanthine/minute at pH 8.0 at 37°C.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
