• Description:SB 525334 is a selective and potent inhibitor of the TGF-Beta receptor 1 (ALK5). It exhibits no inhibition of ALK2, ALK3, and ALK6. It blocks the activation of Smad2/3 by TGF-β1 in renal proximal tubule cells and attenuates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis.
• Solubility:Soluble in organic solvents such as DMSO. DMSO up to 100mM.
