特徴

• RANTES is a CC-chemokine that can signal through the CCR1, CCR3, CCR5 and US28 (cytomegalovirus receptor) receptors. It is a chemoattractant towards monocytes, memory T cells (CD4+/CD45RO), basophils, and eosinophils. RANTES also has the capability to inhibit certain strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV).
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to human RANTES, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 68aa, expressed in E. coli.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.

• Biological Activity:Measured by its ability to chemoattract human CCR5 transfected BaF3 mouse pro-B cells.The ED50 for this effect is typically 1-5ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of ＞2x10e5IU/mg.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
