特徴

• Noggin belongs to a group of structurally diverse diffusible proteins which bind TGF-beta ligands and inhibit their access to membrane receptors. This natural antagonist displays high binding-affinity for BMP-2 and -4 and a lower affinity for BMP-7 (OP-1). This protein is secreted as a disulfide-linked homodimer, however the non-disulfide-linked also assume dimeric structure and displays similar biological activity.
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to human NOGGIN, a non-disulfide-linked homodimer consisting of two 206aa polypeptide chains, expressed in E. coli.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with 10mM HAc. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
