• Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein-4 (MCP-4) is a member of the beta chemokine family (C-C) of cytokines. Like eotaxin, MCP-4 is a powerful eosinophil chemoattractant. Additionally, like MCP-3, MCP-4 elicits chemoattraction of monocytes and T lymphocytes.
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to human MCP-4, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 75aa, expressed in E. coli.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Biological Activity:Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ＞1x10e4IU/mg.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
