• Human interleukin-8 (IL-8) is an 8.4kD protein containing 72aa residues. It promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. The 72aa IL-8 is the predominant form secreted by monocytes and lymphocytes.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Biological Activity:Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ＞1x10e4IU/mg.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
