• All three isoforms of GRO are CXC chemokines that can signal through the CXCR1 or CXCR2 receptors. The GRO proteins chemoattract and activate neutrophils and basophils. Recombinant mouse KC is a 7.8kD protein consisting of 72aa including the 'ELR' motif common to the CXC chemokine family that bind to CXCR1 or CXCR2.
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse GRO/KC/CXCL1, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 72aa, expressed in E. coli.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Biological Activity:Measured by its ability to chemoattract human CXCR2 transfected BaF3 mouse proB cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 3-15ng/mL.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
