Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 9 (CXCL9) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also known as Monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG). CXCL9 is a T-cell chemoattractant, which is induced by IFN-gamma. It is closely related to two other CXC chemokines called CXCL10 and CXCL11, whose genes are located near the gene for CXCL9 on human chromosome 4. CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 all elicit their chemotactic functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CXCR3. The standard product used in this kit is recombinant human CXCL9, consisting of 103aa with the molecular mass of 11.7KDa.
Sample Type:Cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (EDTA).
Intended Use:For quantitative detection of mouse CXCL9 in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma(EDTA).
Sensitivity:<10pg/ml
Range:31.2-2000pg/ml
Specificity:Natural and recombinant mouse CXCL9
Test Principle:This mouse CXCL9 BioAssay™ ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for CXCL9 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(E.coli) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for CXCL9 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the mouse CXCL9 amount of sample captured in plate.
Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
