• Test Principle:This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative/qualitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique
• The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with tetanus antibody. Samples are pipetted into the wells with tetanus antibody conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Any antibodies specific for tetanus antibody present will bind to the pre-coated tetanus antibody. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of bovine tetanus antibody bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
