• Test Principle:This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Plg. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Biotin-conjugated Plg. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between Plg (Standards or samples) and Biotin-conjugated Plg with the pre-coated antibody specific for Plg. The more amount of Plg in samples, the less antibody bound by Biotin-conjugated Plg. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Plg in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
