特徴

• S100A14 is a member of a subfamily of proteins related by EF-hand Ca2+ binding protein superfamily. The extracellular functions of the S-100 family may include the ability to enhance neurite outgrowth, involvement in inflammation, and motility of tumor cells. S100A14 contains 2 EF-hand Ca2+-binding domains, a myristoylation motif, a glycosylation site, and several potential protein kinase phosphorylation sites. It is expressed at high level in the colon and at moderate level in the thymus, kidney, liver, small intestine, and lung.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
