• NME2, also known as NM23B, is a heterodimeric protein functioning as a nucleoside diphosphate (NDP) kinase. NME1 and NME2 comprise the 152aa A and B polypeptide chains of the NM23 enzyme, respectively. NME2 is identical to the beta subunit of human erythrocyte NDP kinase. NDP kinases are involved in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates, and NM23 may act in the regulation of signal transduction by complexing with G proteins, causing activation/inactivation of developmental pathways.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
