• Glutathione S-transferase mu 5, also known as GSTM5, is member of the glutathione s-transferase (GST) family of proteins. There are eight families of GST proteins, namely alpha, kappa, mu, omega, pi, sigma, theta and zeta, each of which is composed of proteins that have a variety of functions throughout the cell. GSTM5 plays an important role in detoxification.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
