特徴

• DDT is an enzyme that catayzes the tautomerization of D-dopachrome to give 5,6-dihydroxyindole (DHI). This protein belongs to the family of lyases, specifically the carboxy-lyases, which cleave carbon-carbon bonds. It shares a homologous aa sequence (33% identical) with the macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) and possesses similar tautomerase activity. In addition, it may functions a proinflammatory cytokine.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
