• CTH (Cystathionine gamma-lyase or cystathionase) belongs to the trans-sulfuration enzymes family. This protein is an enzyme which breaks down cystathionine into cysteine and alpha-ketobutyrate. CTH catalyzes the last step in the transsulfuration pathway from methionine to cysteine.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C.
