• CIB2 belongs to calcium and integrin-binding family. CIB2 may be a Ca2+-binding regulatory protein that interacts with DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit (DNA-PKcs). In skeletal muscle, CIB2 colocalizes with the integrin alpha7B subunit at the sarcolemma and at the neuromuscular and myotendinous junctions. CIB2 is closely related to CIB1.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
