• CABP7, also known as Calcium-binding protein 7, contains two EF-hand domains. It negatively regulates Golgi-to-plasma membrane trafficking by interacting with PI4KB and inhibiting its activity. The CaBP family of EF-hand containing small Ca (2+)-binding proteins has recently emerged as important regulators of multiple targets essential to normal neuronal function in the mammalian central nervous system.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
