特徴

• APIP, also known as probable methylthioribulose-1-phosphate dehydratase, catalyzes the dehydration of methylthioribulose-1-phosphate (MTRu-1-P) into 2,3-diketo-5- methylthiopentyl- 1-phosphate (DK-MTP-1-P). It has an anti-apoptotic function and prevents muscle ischemic damage. This protein inhibits the cytochrome c-dependent and APAF1-mediated cell death.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
