• Phosphoglucomutase (PGM) interconverts the 1- and 6-phosphate isomers of alpha-D-glucose. Although it is a reversible reaction, the formation of glucose-6-phosphate is markedly favored. PGM will not convert beta-D-glucose-1-phosphate or beta-D-glucose-6-phosphate

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with saline. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
