• Secreted growth factor that induces neurite outgrowth and which is mitogenic for fibroblasts, epithelial, and endothelial cells. • Biological Activity:Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity was measured by its ability to enhance neurite outgrowth of E16­E18 rat embryonic cortical neurons, when neurons were plated on 96 well culture plates that had been pre­coated with 100 ul/well of a solution of 5­10 ug/ml rHuPTN.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
