It’s complexes, like the copper-piroxicam functions as a pain killer that interacts with histone/chromatic causing structural alterations accompanied by modulation at epigenomic/genomic level through it’s DNA binding activity. It forms a mixed-ligand copper(II) complex that inhibits growth, induces apoptosis by DNA targeting in human epithelial cervical cancer cells.
