• Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse TARC. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse TARC and analogues was observed.
• Test Principle:This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for TARC has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TARC present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for TARC is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TARC bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

• Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
