特徴

• B lymphocyte chemoattractant, independently cloned and named Angie, is a CXC chemokine strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyers patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (compared to T cells and macrophages), apparently by stimulating calcium influx into, and chemotaxis of, cells expressing Burkitts lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1). It may therefore function in the homing of B lymphocytes to follicles.

• Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 and analogues was observed.
• Test Principle:This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of Cxcl13/Blc/Scyb13 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
