Mycoplasma pneumoniae group 2 are gram-negative pleomorphic cells, spherical to ovoid shaped, single tripled-layered membrane but lacking a true cell wall. They causes lower respiratory infections; less often a pharyngitis progressing to bronchitis or pneumoniae; gradual onset with headache, malaise, paroxysmal cough, substernal pain; leukocytosis in some cases. Duration varies from a few days to a month or more.

Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
