• IL18 (Interleukin 18), previously known as interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma)-inducing factor, is an activator of NK cells and a co-inducer of Th1 cytokines. IL18 is produced from Kupffer cells, activated macrophages, keratinocytes, intestinal epithelial cells, osteoblasts, adrenal cortex cells and murine diencephalon. Recombinant mouse IL18 was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Endotoxin:<1.0Eu/1 microgram of protein (determined by LAL method)
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
