Glypican 4, also known as GPC4, is a family of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored heparan sulphate proteoglycans (HSPGs) that may play a role in the control of cell division and growth regulation. GPC4 is widely expressed in human tissues, including lung, kidney, heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, and pancreas. GPC4 has also been shown to be present in astrocytes, haematopoietic-progenitor and bone-marrow-stromal cells.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
