• CYP2E1 also known as Cytochrome P450 2E1 (abbreviated CYP2E1, EC 1.14.13.n7), is a member of the cytochrome P450 mixed-function oxidase system that involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics in the body. While it is involved in the oxidative metabolism of a small range of substrates (mostly small polar molecules), there are many important drug interactions mediated by CYP2E1.
• Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa29-493 from human CYP2E1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli.

• Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
