Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 3 isoform 2, also known as CEACAM3, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily of genes encode cell adhesion proteins, which are expressed at higher levels in tumorous tissues than in normal tissues. CEACAM3 plays an important role in the clearance of pathogens by the innate immune system. It is responsible for RAC1 stimulation in the course of pathogen phagocytosis.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa35-155 from human CEACAM3, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli.
