BCL7C is identified by the similarity of its product to the N-terminal region of BCL7A protein. The BCL7A protein is encoded by the gene known to be directly involved in a three-way gene translocation in a Burkitt lymphoma cell line. The function of this gene has not yet been determined.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-217 from human BCL7C, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli.
Molecular Weight:~25.9kD (240aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF
Applications:Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
