A potent, selective dopamine D2 receptor agonist with a Ki value of 4.8nM. Some D3(Ki = 24nM) and D4 (Ki = 30nM) receptor agonistic action has also been reported. In rat striatum studies in vitro, application of quinpriole inhibited single pulse dopamine overflow in a concentration-dependent manner (IC50 = 32.5nM).
Storage and Stability:Powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
