A cocktail of six protease inhibitors for the inhibition of a broad range of proteases and esterases. This protease inhibitor cocktail is not suitable for use with 2-D gel sample preparation or purification of proteins using immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). Each vial, when reconstituted with 1ml H2O, yields a 100X stock solution. When diluted to 1X the cocktail contains 100uM AEBSF, HCl , 1uM Leupeptin Hemisulfate, 400uM Benzamidine, HCl, 500uM EDTA, Disodium, 1uM E-64 and 150nM Aprotinin.

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
